The Art Will Save the World Shop stocks original art and design pieces created by students and teachers at affiliated charity Colors of Cambodia. Sales and donations directly support and maintain this vital program which has been in operation since 2003.
Colors of Cambodia employs full time Khmer teachers (once former students), who teach in the gallery, as well as in local Schools within and on the outskirts of Siem Reap. It also hosts internationally renowned artists who conduct in-house workshops and has full-scale art exhibitions.
Colors of Cambodia could not thrive or continue without the extensive amount of time and energy our staff and volunteers provide, as well as the support from those who donate artistic materials to our NGO.
The overall mission of Colors of Cambodia is to offer time, materials and a safe place for the children of Siem Reap to develop a sense of self belief by recognizing and developing their own artistic voice and unique style, while understanding art can be both expression and a profession. We truly believe art will save the world.

After years of practice, Romy has found that gently taming and suggesting shape yields the most elegant results. Even when she started small with wallets back in 1987, she always matched her meticulousness with curiosity. Travelling around the globe, she has studied various techniques and designs that have helped her cultivate a singular yet international style. Today, she has a few apprentices of her own and spends most of her time crafting with them in her Montréal studio. She still makes time to learn new techniques and exhibits at tradeshows all around the world.
